Hi! I am a third-year PhD student in Data Science at Stony Brook University, advised by Professor Jiawei (Joe) Zhou. Prior to my PhD, I received my B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from SUNY Korea – Stony Brook University, which gave me a strong foundation in statistical methods and causal inference.
My current research focuses on understanding and improving large language models — particularly in the areas of LLM safety, pretraining data analysis, and self-improvement pipelines.
